Jerry's. Labels: food
After staying in the area for close to 17 years, it's embarrassing to say that I've never tried Jerry's.
Hans and I went there on a weekday for dinner.
Finally!
We ordered a set and some side dishes to share.
Mushroom soup.
Delicious soup and delicious garlic bread.
Pulled pork something.
This is seriously damn nice!
Couldn't get enough of it. I don't know how to describe it but you must try it.
It also comes in the sandwich form.
Yums!
Ehh.. Can't remember the name of this but it is basically baked potatoes.
So-so only. Was actually a bad choice for us cos it was too filling. Haha.
Of course must order the buffalo wings.
My very adventurous boyfriend (as we all already know) ordered the Chef Challenge version which is the most spicy level. I couldn't take it and was downing water like crazy and mixing it a lot of the pulled pork together to "dilute" the heat. Obviously I got full too fast. :(
I struggled through 2 of them then gave up. Haha. Hans ate 4.
He later told me that even though he had washed his hands many times already, his eyes stung when he removed his contact lenses using those same fingers. Ouch! Lucky I used my knife and fork.
While I hate celery and its awful smell/taste, it did its job in easing the heat in our mouths. But it's still gross la.
The sauce provided didn't seem to go very well with the wings or celery/carrot sticks.
Will go back and try the first or second levels next time!
The tiramisu was nice.
Small but sufficient. :)
Nice meal! :)
There was this group about two tables away from us. We eavesdropped (lol! we enjoy doing this) and figured they were primary or secondary schoolmates. They kept relating old stories, talking about their classes and there were old friends being mentioned. Totally having a blast in their own way. The men looked old but some of the females look relatively young... but averagely they look about mid to late 40s.
I wonder if I will be seen in such a group ten/twenty years later.
I wonder how the young people will look and think of me.
