I've been sporting variations of french tips for the last couple of weeks.

Last week's:




Flowers and dragonflies. :)

I personally didn't like it.
Felt that it was a slipshod piece of work and couldn't wait for the weekend to arrive so I could do a new design.

But surprisingly, at least two colleagues commented on my nails.

One was a compliment.
The other contained sarcasm.
"你的指甲做到这样美，叫你做这个(pluck staples) 不很惨" as she showed me how to use her nails to pluck them off. With lots of sarcasm.
Seriously, with staplers that come with a device to remove staples, why would you need to put stress on your nails?

I have been paying more attention to my surroundings, trying real hard to find inspiration but I get too ambitious and waste too much time on my nails.
Ugh.

In this week's case, I just had to settle for something simpler.
This was quite fast and easy to do.
I love the contrast. :)
The white band on the thumbs weren't even supposed to be there.. but I messed up a little and had to cover up. Lol. But I've since done the thumbs again.. without the white bands.

*wedding ring finger with design on full nail cos it deserves the attention. haha! up to you to interpret the reason behind it.
