Swensen's Ice Cream Buffet

Cakes and stuff are secondary so let's just get down to the icecream.






First round of icecream was quite good. Hans chose flavours that I would like and I added the toppings. Very safe and pleasant.


Below is obviously chosen by me. All chocolate plus a small scoop of Mint Chips. Awesomeness.

The marshmellows were strangely tough and not springy. And I was quite worried after taking my maltballs cos I saw some kids sticking their hands into the bowl and just standing there and eating. Then it got worse. This kid was standing right at the nuts area, using the server spoon to feed himself.. dip spoon into bowl, goes straight to mouth, dip spoon into bowl.... :S

And we all know, Hans is the adventurous type when it comes to food.
He went for another bowl of icecream.
His choices of icecream... were disgusting. One look at the colours turned me off. Look at the toppings lor. OMG yuck. I really dislike all these so-called fruit flavoured stuff (that includes sweets!) cos they taste nothing like the real fruit and just taste really artificial.


I did a teeny dip into each one after he insisted I try them all. I can't remember what he got but them all mixed together was a deadly concoction. I refused to eat anymore except the surprisingly yummy durian one.. and he couldn't even finish the rest.
I believe he felt a bit overwhelmed and was on the verge of puking. Lol.

See la. So much for being adventurous.

There was this chopping thing that I wanted to try!
What they do is that you choose some toppings and an icecream flavour and they'll mix them up (by "chopping"), creating your own sundae.



We were supposed to only choose toppings from those available at the "chop-chop" station itself.. but I thought that we could choose from the toppings from the toppings section and I went a little happy with choosing. Lol.

The very nice lady just closed one eye and "chopped" our icecream together with the toppings we chose. :D



And it turned out really yummy!




I got full too fast.
But now looking at the photos, I really wouldn't mind going back for more. :D
