Our small Lumiere package..
From back in July. Lol.



They were having some sale back then and it seemed like a great time to place an order!


I've never tried Lumiere MMU but Mel (plus many other MMU users) likes it so much that I needed to try it.
She prefers the Veena Velvet formula and Fairly Light Golden matches her pretty well. So one 12g jar each for us!

Melly was so nice to let me get the almost-free sample baggies so that I could try out the other formulas and shades. Yay to you girl!



I got:
Fairly Light Golden Flawless
Fairly Light Golden Luminesse
Fair Warm Cashmere
Fair Beige Veena Velvet
Wild Rose Blush

I did a swatch of the foundation samples I got on my arm back then. But I didn't upload and label them immediately so haha. I can't remember which is which. But anyway!

I've since transferred them into 5g jars, oh except Fair Warm. But I've ran out of sifters so it's quite troublesome and wouldn't choose to use them if I'm in a rush.

FLG Luminesse is darker than the Flawless and VV, just like the reviews I've read online have mentioned. It's still okay on my skin but I really don't like the formula. Would prefer EDM's Ori-glo.
I like both FLG Flawless and VV, though I haven't really decided which I prefer. Have been using VV more just cos it's more convenient to use. Mel says that VV is creamy but I haven't concluded if it's because of the way it smells. Haha.

I thought I ordered Fairly Light Warm Cashmere actually. I went back to the website to check but there's only FL Warm on the sample baggie page and not on the individual foundation section. So I don't know if they gave me the wrong one or there's no FL Warm mix in the first place. But it's definitely a little too dark. Will use it one day at home to try out the formula though.

Fair Beige VV is a little too pink, as expected. I chose to add that into my list just to add a bit of pink tone if any of the shades turn out too yellow.


I quite like Lumiere foundations but guess that it's only worth it to get during sales. Haha. Shipping is not that expensive too - only USD$6. :)
