Review on the Fyrinnae stuff I got some time back!

Photobucket

I've finally tried everything and here's the lowdown.

Powder Primer
I have to say that I don't have much issues of makeup melting/disappearing at the end of the day. My main concern, especially with MMU, is that I look oily and need to touchup to reduce shine. Works the same as my everydayminerals start-to-finish rice powder. I use them both but I don't see much of a difference. Low oil control, makeup looks the same as without. Not impressed, to be honest.

Velvet-Gel Silica Primer
Smooth and goes on super easily. Moderate oil control, definitely it's better than the powder primer. Again, I can't say if makeup stays better or not since that's not my main issue. Probably will repurchase cos it's really smooth, has aloe extracts and unlikely to clog pores unlike the Monistat Chafing Gel (which broke me out).

Velvet-Gel Silica Primer (Dry skin)
Frankly, I like this as much as the one for normal-combi skin. It does actually seem to hydrate my dry skin and counteracts the drying agents of MMU, I don't get as oily at the end of the day. But when I'm out on a particularly warm humid day, this totally fails in oil control.

Fluff
I have used this with MMU, liquid foundation and for light dusting over during touchups. It does its job - blur out pores/fine lines but doesn't really absorb oil well. Can't be compared to my favourite ettusais Day Protect Powder in terms of creating softness but I guess it's not bad if it's pure mineral powder.

Hypnotize blush
I don't really know what to say here. It's just like a loose powder blush. LOL.

Lip Lustres
These have a very interesting texture. It's not as sticky as lipgloss as they dry up but the pigmentation is awesome and doesn't disappear as quickly as lipgloss after eating and drinking. I am totally looking forward to getting more shades! But not looking forward to choosing cos the swatches on its website are not very accurate.
This is my favourite product from this small haul!
