Benefit Some Kind-a Gorgeous

I've had this for almost two years now and when I first used it, I didn't like it at all.
The oil control is mediocre.
Coverage is light to medium imo. Doesn't cover up any blemishes.
Not exactly a "foundation faker".
While it claims to blend and match your skin tone, it dulls my face and is a little too dark for me. Benefit now has a darker shade but I wish they made a fairer one too.
The sponge sucks so I use my fingers.

Recently however, I've been picking it up and using it.

It's amazing how I found its oil control quite good. Probably cos MMU makes me oil more and doesn't provide very much oil control. Lol. Obviously I perspire more in this weather but with this, while my face gets shinier, it doesn't feel oily.. if you get what I mean. MMU will cake up if I perspire a lot but this doesn't. So I'll probably find myself reaching out a lot for this, especially on hot humid days. :)
I've become darker this summer but it is still dull and too dark for me. I remedy that by using a lighter loose/pressed powder over. Still dark but it does help a little.

One more thing, Hans hates the smell. Lol. It has this rusty metal smell which actually bothers me a little too. Not for those with sensitive noses!

Finally hit pan after 2 years. Lol. I'm hoping to finish it by the end of this year.
I hate to show half-used makeup cos I think it's really gross but I wanted to let you guys see the colour.
Sorry!

Looks really orange and dark but blends out okay.

I don't know if you guys can see clearly but the area in the blue rectangle (where I applied the product) looks darker and orangey as compared to the skin around it. It's not the lighting!
That's how it looks on my face. Wrong colour. :(

If only Benefit had a lighter shade and one without the rusty smell. Lol.
