On Saturday, I also received my makeupmasala package.
It took about 1 week for them to get my package shipped and another week before it reached me.



I didn't realize that that was their logo.. but colour on labels made me happy.


Packed in ziplock bags. Neat!


And all individually bubblewrapped!
I had requested for bubblewrap and I didn't expect this so thumbs up!


Free product of my choice for next order sounds good. :)

And you all know how much of a sucker I am for service.. Handwritten 'Thank you' note is absolutely love! In fact, I'm so pleased with this that I decided not to email them about the small mess-up in my order.


I got some LA Colors Art Deco Nail Pens.
I had initially intended to get them off some other webby (can't remember what now.. but it was recommended by julieg713 on youtube).. but cos makeupmasala had free international shipping, they win. Haha.


So each one of them have this thin brush so you can do designs and stuff.


I also got LA Colors Nail Lacquers.


I wanted to see if Green Satin was a dupe for Peppermint Patti.. But nope. Green Satin has slight shimmers but I would say the colour is pretty close.

Pink Sizzle and Gold Dust apply really streaky. Green Satin has a bit of that too.. But I'm loving Luscious Wine and Metallic Blue.


This is the mess-up I was talking about.
I ordered Jesse's Girl Purple Glitter but they sent me Confetti instead.
I'm not sure if it's because it was out of stock.. Oh well.


I also got this palette to make up to US$20.
Not that I had trouble finding items to add to my cart, but a lot of stuff were out of stock at that time so I didn't have much of a choice.
I tried it and the colours have quite good payoff.. Not bad for the price. :)



Oh and I received an email from them saying that they will have to raise shipping fees for us international customers cos of some price increase by US Postal Service.
To be fair, I seriously think they should charge shipping fee.
Well, of course I would love free shipping.
But look at how much my shipping cost them.. For my US$20.39 package.
I really don't know how much they are earning.


I say to them, keep shipping fees low and international customers will still order.
