I used the TBS Wild Cherry Body Scrub last night.. Labels: TBS, the body shop
And it just reminded me as to why I should just stick to my Cocoa Butter Body Scrub.
It reminded me that I never liked TBS fruity body scrubs.
These are in a gel form, are too light and not moisturizing enough.
The Cocoa Butter one is creamy and leaves my skin soft and smooth. The fruity ones don't.
In fact, the fruity body scrubs just remind me of the Body Polishes.
I don't see much of a difference since they are both gel and the exfoliating particles are like practically the same.
Sigh. I might just use the Wild Cherry Body Scrub as a shower gel every other day.
I hope I remember not to get the fruity body scrubs next time.
On the note of TBS body scrubs, I've tried the Spa Wisdom Africa Spa Salt Scrub and it's really crazily pricey.
I got it only because this acquaintance offered to help me get TBS stuff through his friend who works there and enjoys 50% off. Haha I got like $200 worth of products, after the discount. 50% discount is good! Too bad I don't meet this guy anymore.
Frankly, I don't think the price is justified. Like it's name, the scrub is really all salt.. and it melts instantaneously when it comes in contact with damp skin. I truly don't see how it is exfoliating. Didn't feel my skin more moisturized after using it either. I will never purchase it again, with discount or not.
