I got my stuff from a MAD minerals spree some time last week. Labels: MAD minerals, makeup, nails
Only got 3 products - 1 Indelible Gel Eyeliner and 2 Indelible Creme Eye Shadows.
And they are really tiny!
For comparison purposes.
Indelible Gel Eyeliner in Black Out.
Indelible Creme Eye Shadows in Nude Frost and Bare Necessity.
On the webby, they stated that Nude Frost is a dupe for MAC Bare Study Paintpot and Bare Necessity is a dupe for MAC Painterly Paintpot. Both of these I've always wanted to try but never got around buying them. I thought I'd try these dupes and see how I like them while considering getting the Paintpots.
As you can see, Nude Frost has a shimmer in it while Bare Necessity is matte.
I like them both really.
Nude Frost is great as a convenient overall colour and works well as a base for other eyeshadows.
Bare Necessity matches my skin tone and so helps to even out discolouration.
Now my only worry is that these will dry up.
I've made it a point to store them lid down and to close the lid tightly after every use. I'm always rushing to get out of the house in the morning so sometimes I forget and quickly run back in to tighten the lid. Lol.
But at this price, I definitely will be repurchasing them and might even consider getting the other colours to try. :)
Thought I'll just share how Refined MSF looks on me.
I applied with a light-hand and didn't apply it with blush.
It turns up really natural and looks like a slight flush.
-thumbs up-
And remember Magnetique? The free lipglass from the previous post?
It looks like such a deep purple in the tube and frankly I thought I wouldn't like it. But I tried it on and it's soooooo pretty! It's such a flattering shade on my lips and I never knew plummy colours could look good on me. Yay!
I couldn't get a nice photo of it on my lips so too bad. Haha.
After having bare nails for the past week, I now have pink nails with stars!
And then I added more stars the next morning..
Sorry about the different lighting but first pic is more true to colour. Haha.
