I went for a 9km run today and I didn't have a route in mind.. I just ran in whatever direction I felt like going. But seriously, I'd rather know where I am going and which route I'm taking. It's quite scary cos it was pretty dark and I ended up taking a new route which eventually led me back to some familiar roads. But it was too dark and though I was pretty near home already, I didn't dare to take that way home so I had to U-turn and retrace my steps.

And it makes me smile when guys/men sprint to overtake me, only to stop to walk after like 2 minutes. I mean, I will overtake them back soon enough so I don't see how that helps boost their ego. Haha. Thinking back, I think I meet such guys almost on all my runs. :S

Today, I had a HUGE group of men, all about 30-50 years old, overtaking me. Their strides were like double mine so obviously they went really far in a super short time. They probably stopped to walk about 300m away.
So when I started to run past them, I heard one of the younger guys say 'Wahh.. This xiaomeimei's stamina quite good ah'. Hurhurhur.

I could hear them cos my mp3 died halfway through my run.
Yes, my mp3 DIED officially. Not no batt.. IT DIED. It just wouldn't turn on anymore. :(

When I finally reached home, I felt my left index fingernail catching on to my fbt so I looked down at it and OMG! It was torn and half of the white part was gone. Haha. And I didn't even know?!

I wasn't too upset though cos it was time to remove my polish plus it didn't tear too deep so there was no pain..
So after bathing, I did my nails!

I think that blob on my left thumb is cool!
But it was actually an accident.. And I couldn't recreate that accident on my right thumb so no blob for right side.

Short nails are in anyway. Haha.

Hans made my day when I showed him my nails by saying "so cute!".. though his first reaction was "what have you been doing at home?" implying that I probably haven't been spending the most of my time studying.... :S
