Hans and I went to try out Barcelos at Vivo.
It's like fast food style and the food is quite fast food-ish too.
Meaning unhealthy.

We shared a 1/4 chicken with Tangy Lemon sauce.
We had it with garlic bun (instead of wedges or rice).
It tasted quite good actually.
The salad portion was measly though. :x

And a side dish - Spicy Wedges.
They were not spicy at all. So much for the name. Tsk.

We got a drink (which was free flow by the way) to share. But Hans said that was a sign at the counter which stated that they don't allow sharing of drinks and if caught, they will charge us accordingly. But we shared anyway, discreetly. I thought this was ridiculous. What about little kids who definitely can't finish a whole glass of soft drink? Parents would think of sharing with their kids, no? I don't see Carls' Jr stopping people from sharing a drink. If you wanted to allow free flow, then you can't really control sharing of drinks. Maybe make your drinks more expensive to reduce your losses then!

They had sauces on each table labelled:
Tangy Lemon
Mild Peri
Veri Peri
Supa Peri

I tried Veri Peri first and didn't think it to be that spicy so I tried Supa Peri. Not that crazily spicy either. Haha. Shrugs.

We then tried the Mild Peri and Tangy Lemon and decided that we liked Tangy Lemon the best. The others weren't as spicy as they claimed and had this strong mustard-y smell that I didn't really like.

Overall.
I think it's quite reasonable price-wise. Our meal came up to be $22 i think.
Food is alright. Nothing special and the portion is big enough to be shared.
Hans thinks that prohibiting the sharing of drinks deters him from coming back. He thinks they are so niao, so calculative.

My boy! :)
